For those who may not be aware, there is a monthly fee to use the app, which is currently set at $1. The app operates on an invite-only basis. I have created an invite code for the first 100 users, which offers them a grandfathered pricing of $1 per month. This means that these early users will pay this flat rate for as long as they use the app. This pricing is a way to thank our early supporters and keep the app affordable.
Currently, it costs about $40 a month to run the services. This cost is relatively low because we don’t have many users yet. However, as more people join, the operational costs will increase. My plan is to maintain the grandfathered pricing for early users. Future users will see adjusted rates, but early supporters will benefit from the fixed price as a token of my appreciation.
For example, if operational costs require it, the price might increase to $2 a month for new users. This increase won’t affect those who have already joined at the $1 rate.
